INNER SACRED DEITIES
2021 - 2022
One of the collections I will be showcasing at EuropArtFair 2023 in Amsterdam, is my vision of utopian concepts of the next Satya Yuga - the age of Crystal Origins. I have created a series of artwork depicting sacred beings inspired by the Vedic textual descriptions of deities. These sacred deities are my interpretation of what they would look like in our age. They carry the vibrations of the future, the new Satya Yuga. I have been envisioning and drawing different installations and visions of a futuristic technology that uses crystals as transmitters of energy, working through the emotional and cellular human body. It envisions how, in the future, communities on earth will employ these crystal machines to connect to their inner vibrations and to the flow of abundance and love. This technology will help with healing and realigning our bodies energy centers with our divine selves. It will help to fully reunite the material world with the spirit world once again and will bring wealth, prosperity, and abundance to earth on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, reminiscent of how it was during the times of the Satya Yuga.
WOMB WISDOM ORACLE
2020 -2023
In the WombWisdomOracle series, I am rectifying the blatant omission of the “sacred feminine” from socio-religious texts of patriarchal systems such as Islam and Christianity. I am challenging the exclusive depiction of “males” as divine figures. I am challenging the notion in these texts that sexuality is in contradiction to divinity. I address the rise of the sacred feminine in the dark, old, traditional, religious society of Iran. The "old" is represented in my artwork by Persian miniatures of mosques, ayatollahs, bazars, male prophets, and legends, while the "sacred feminine" is represented by modern "realistic painting of photographic portraits of women."
ALTERNATE REALITIES
2005-2006
I created a collection of drawings titled Alternate Realities in 2005. I was striving to build invisible worlds in this collection of paintings by drawing inspiration from the familiar, everyday elements in my environment. tearing apart what already exists in order to recompose it, creating a new object by combining several existing ones. rearranging the broken items to create the unseen, invisible worlds. to create the unfamiliar from the familiar. Connecting to the state of free-flowing creation, when the mind is still and the pencil on the paper and observation blend in a sense of flow, was crucial to this creative process. My fascination with star systems, astral regions, and mystical places of the subconscious mind is evident in this body of work: Our Relationship to the Unseen Realities.
