Cosmic Twins is an innovative, experimental, body-responsive installation that seamlessly merges art, technology, and human interaction. Taking a multidisciplinary approach, we integrate sensors, voice recognition, digital screen, and sound with visual painting to create a dynamic environment that responds in real time to each viewer’s presence.

As a biofeedback-driven work, it aligns perfectly with the theme Somatic Frequencies & Resonance, while also engaging The Poetics of Probability through its subtle incorporation of unpredictability and chance.

We transduce human vitals—such as heartbeat and spoken words—transforming them into real-time interactions with the artwork. The painting responds to these signals, making the audience an integral part of the experience. This dynamic interplay amplifies the energy, presence, and vitality of the art, evolving with each viewer’s interaction.

The installation explores the relationship between human intention and artistic expression, emphasizing the profound impact of language and intent, while acknowledging the inherent fluidity of life. It embraces the unpredictability of individual heartbeats, environmental variables, and technological nuances.

Through dynamic feedback mechanisms, the installation introduces an element of randomness and uncertainty. The responses are not fixed or predetermined; instead, they evolve in real time, reflecting the complex nature of human energy and the ever-changing, interactive nature of the experience.

In Cosmic Twins, participants are prompted—via screen, headphones, or a mobile interface—to vocalize affirming phrases like “I live in harmony” or “I receive all the abundance.” As these words are spoken, shifting light patterns emerge, adapting in real time to each affirmation. These interactions act as gentle reminders of the impact our words can have on our reality, reinforcing a positive, empowered mindset.

Additionally, we invite our audience to wear artistically crafted devices equipped with heartbeat sensors. These gadgets enable participants to synchronize their heartbeat with the vibrations, visuals, or sounds generated by the painting.
