INNER SACRED DEITIES

Inner Sacred Deities is a project that explores ancient archetypal energies through a visual language of form, color, and symbolism—manifesting in both abstract compositions and human-like figures.

Inner Sacred Deities

Project Description

Inner Sacred Deities is a visual exploration grounded in my deep engagement with the sacred texts of ancient India, particularly the Vedas and the Mahabharata. This body of work is informed by an experiential connection to the mythic and metaphysical narratives within these texts—most notably, the cycles of the Yugas and the archetypal presence of deities such as Krishna.

While reading the Mahabharata, I experienced a profound sense of re-embodiment and memory, reconnecting with the Treta Yuga and the Satya Yuga—epochs described as eras of higher consciousness, harmony, and divine presence. Through this process, I envisioned the opening of energetic "portals" signaling the potential rebirth of the Satya Yuga, a metaphorical return to Earth’s Golden Age and to our crystalline energetic origins.

Each painting in this series serves as a vessel for the frequencies associated with these ancient energies. The visual language—comprised of symbolic forms, colors, geometries, and textures—functions not only as aesthetic expression but as energetic transmission. These works seek to honor the continuity of Vedic knowledge while situating it within a contemporary context of spiritual reconnection and planetary transformation.

Drawing inspiration from the cosmological frameworks of the Rig Veda, the series proposes that these deific energies are not confined to the past, but are re-emerging in new forms—resonant with their original essence, yet adapted to the consciousness of our time.
